There are three simple methods to roughly determine the quality of brake oil.

Method 1: Smell it. If there is obvious odor or essence smell, there is a quality problem.

Method 2: Try to “burn” on your hands. Pour a small amount of brake oil onto the palm of your hand, if there is no heating sensation, there is a quality issue, the hotter the hand, the better the quality of the brake oil.

Method 3: Test with water. Pour 2/3 cups of water first, then 1/3 cups of brake oil in, stir. If the mixed liquid is transparent, it indicates that the brake oil has not added the necessary special components, and there is a quality problem.
