1.Preparations: Clean the lubricated parts (e.g., bearings, gears) to remove old grease, dust, and debris with a brush or grease cleaner (avoid corrosive solvents). Check compatibility with elastomers/coatings and select the right type (e.g., synthetic-oil based for high temps, water-resistant for wet environments). Never mix with other grease types.
2.Application: For rolling bearings, coat raceways/rollers evenly (fill 1/3-1/2 of bearing internal space). For gears/chains, apply a thin, uniform layer. Use tools like grease guns for hard-to-reach areas.
3.Dosage & Maintenance: Avoid over-greasing (causes overheating) or under-greasing (insufficient lubrication). Reapply per equipment specs and inspect regularly to replace deteriorated grease.
